With over 32 years of structural engineering experience, following a decade-long career in construction, Mr. Charlson brings a unique combination of design expertise and practical field knowledge to every project. As Founder and Principal of CRC & Associates, LLC, established in 2005, he has successfully led projects throughout Florida and expanded operations into Ohio, Kentucky, and Texas. His extensive portfolio includes multi-story buildings, bridges, healthcare facilities, educational campuses, government centers, industrial and energy facilities, wastewater treatment plants, military structures, marinas, tilt-up warehouses, and specialty structures requiring advanced engineering solutions.

Mr. Charlson is recognized for developing efficient, constructible structural systems that successfully balance architectural vision, performance, and cost. His expertise spans seismic design, hurricane-resistant structures, VE and Coastal A flood zones, projects seaward of the Coastal Construction Control Line (CCCL), dry flood-proofing applications, prestressed concrete, tilt-up construction, foundation systems, retaining structures, forensic investigations, and specialized industrial support structures. All designs are developed in accordance with the latest building codes and the current ASCE 7-22 standard.

Complementing his structural engineering background are formal studies in geotechnical engineering and extensive construction experience, enabling him to provide comprehensive solutions from site conditions and subsurface investigations through final structural design. In addition to his technical expertise, Mr. Charlson has extensive experience managing multidisciplinary teams, forecasting workloads, developing budgets, overseeing project delivery, and maintaining strong client relationships through clear communication, responsive service, and positive leadership.
